As the holy month of Ramadan proceeded, people at Square63 planned for an aftaar-cum-dinner buffet at Salt n Pepper Grill. The usual buzz at a famous restaurant was what we witnessed near the iftaar time with everyone grabbing a plate full of usual eatables. Some guests and close friends also accompanied us for the dinner.
The food was relatively good given the fact that so many people had to be served with all the dishes at the same time. The ambiance and the mood were definitely alive and the specialty for the night was “Namkeen Gosht” (Salted Mutton).
For the 1st half hour right after the iftaar the food stalls and counters are usually jam-packed with people stuffing the plates with anything and everything that comes into their hands. The plates, over-spilling with all sorts of meat dishes, salad combinations and sausages looked like they were bigger and taller than K-2 (no offense if anyone amongst us had that kind of plate). The funny part is even the mothers ignored their children crying and fighting for ice-cream and rushed for that special something in the salad bar when everyone else can also have it if they queued properly for that.
Anyways we ate our part amid all this scrumptious havoc around us and enjoyed every bite of it.

PARTY YAY!!! Best
